Intellectual Property Rights – Neglected Labs

At Neglected Labs, we believe in empowering our community while maintaining the integrity and vision of our NFT collections. This page outlines the intellectual property (IP) rights granted to holders of Neglected Ghosts and The One’s Legacy Collection NFTs.

Each collection carries a distinct approach to IP rights, ensuring that holders can utilize their NFTs in ways that align with the project's ethos and legal framework.

Neglected Ghost's - Limited IP Rights

Neglected Ghosts are designed with a kid-friendly vision, primarily aimed at fostering engaging experiences in family-oriented media and games. To preserve this vision, certain restrictions apply to how these NFTs can be used in commercial or creative endeavors.

Rights Granted to Holders

​

As an owner of a Neglected Ghost NFT, you are granted a non-exclusive, limited, worldwide license to use, copy, and display your NFT for the following purposes:

  • Personal Use – You can showcase, print, and modify your Neglected Ghost NFT for non-commercial purposes (e.g., profile pictures, personal prints, etc.).

  • Limited Commercial Use – You may use your Neglected Ghost NFT to create and sell merchandise, media, or other products as long as they adhere to the content restrictions listed below.

  • Digital & Physical Display – You can exhibit your NFT in digital galleries, personal websites, and events.

Restrictions (What You Cannot Do)

To maintain the integrity of Neglected Ghosts as a kid-friendly brand, the following uses are strictly prohibited:

  • Alcohol & Substance-Related Use – You may not use your NFT in association with alcoholic beverages, tobacco, drugs, or any substance-related promotions.

  • Pornographic or Sexually Explicit Content – Any use of a Neglected Ghost NFT in adult content, including pornography, escort services, or sexually suggestive material, is forbidden.

  • Profanity & Hate Speech – You may not use your NFT in any context involving hate speech, derogatory language, or offensive material.

  • Violence & Harmful Activities – The NFT may not be used in content promoting real-world violence, illegal activities, or harmful behavior.

  • Political & Religious Endorsements – You may not use a Neglected Ghost NFT to represent or endorse any political campaign, movement, or religious ideology.

Clarifications & Enforcement

Neglected Labs reserves the right to revoke or limit usage rights if an NFT is used in a manner that violates the content restrictions outlined above. In cases of disputes, we will work with legal experts to ensure compliance with our terms.

Neglected Ghost

The One's Legacy (T1L) - FULL IP Rights

The One’s Legacy Collection is designed for unrestricted creativity and entrepreneurial freedom. Holders are granted full commercial rights over their NFTs, allowing them to utilize their assets however they see fit.

Rights Granted to Holders

​

As an owner of a The One’s Legacy Collection NFT, you are granted an exclusive, worldwide, perpetual license to use your NFT’s artwork in any capacity, including but not limited to:

  • Merchandise & Branding – You can create and sell products (clothing, accessories, collectibles, etc.) featuring your NFT.

  • Media & Entertainment – You may incorporate your NFT into movies, TV shows, games, comics, and any other form of entertainment.

  • Advertising & Marketing – Your NFT can be used in advertisements, social media campaigns, and branding for commercial purposes.

  • Resale & Licensing – You are free to license your NFT’s likeness to third parties for collaborations, partnerships, or royalty-based projects.

No Restrictions on Use

Unlike Neglected Ghosts, there are no limitations on how The One’s Legacy Collection NFTs can be used. Owners have the freedom to use their NFTs for any purpose, including adult content, alcohol-related promotions, or political endorsements.

Clarifications & Legal Standing

The commercial rights granted are tied exclusively to the holder of the NFT. If an NFT is sold or transferred, the new owner gains full rights, and the previous owner relinquishes them.
Neglected Labs does not retain any control over how The One’s Legacy Collection NFTs are used once acquired by holders.

The One's Legacy

Intellectual Property Ownership

Ownership of the NFT vs. Ownership of the Artwork

When you purchase an NFT from Neglected Labs, you own the token itself on the blockchain, but the copyright of the artwork remains with Neglected Labs unless otherwise stated.

  • You do not own the copyright to the original artwork unless explicitly transferred.

  • Neglected Labs retains the underlying copyright for Neglected Ghosts, ensuring that the kid-friendly branding remains protected.

  • The One’s Legacy Collection grants full commercial rights but does not transfer copyright ownership—rather, it provides an unrestricted license to use the NFT’s artwork.

Enforcement & Violations

​

If a Neglected Ghosts NFT is used in violation of its restrictions, Neglected Labs reserves the right to issue takedown notices, pursue legal action, or request platform intervention (e.g., DMCA takedowns on marketplaces, social media, etc.).
Neglected Labs will not intervene in disputes involving The One’s Legacy Collection, as those NFTs are fully open for commercial use.

  • ✅ Full Commercial Use – You are free to use your NFT for any business, product, or brand with no restrictions.

  • ✅ No Content Restrictions – You may use your NFT in any type of content, including adult, political, or alcohol-related materials.
